Cemetery opening times changing in Torfaen

Opening times at three cemeteries in Torfaen are changing.

Between October and March, Blaenavon Cemetery, Cwmbran Cemetery and Panteg Cemetery will be open from 9am until 5.30pm.

Between April and September, they will be open from 9am until 8pm.

A Council spokesman said: "Only minor changes have been made which will see cemeteries closed half an hour earlier between October and January and an hour and half earlier between February and March.

"Previous arrangements were inconsistent and confusing. The new arrangements will be much clearer and opening and closing times will be signposted at each cemetery."
