A man has died following a road traffic collision in Shotton yesterday morning (Monday, 12th October).
Shortly after 10am North Wales Police received a report that a one-vehicle collision had occurred on Chester Road West.
An ambulance was called to the scene and the driver was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
An investigation is underway and police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, to contact officers at the Eastern Roads Policing Unit on 101, if you are calling from Wales, or 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) or 0845 607 1002 (English line).
