Three people have been released on police bail following an incident in Holyhead over the weekend.
During the early hours of Saturday, 10th October, a 33-year-old man was admitted to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor with stab wounds to his chest, arm and abdomen.
Officers were alerted and an investigation commenced.
Later that same day, officers searched three separate addresses in the Holyhead area and arrested two men on suspicion of attempted murder.
A third man has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and all three men – a 23-year-old, 22-year-old and another 23-year-old have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
One of the arrested men – a 23-year-old, has since been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and he has been bailed to appear before Caernarfon Magistrates on Thursday 15th, October.
The 33-year-old victim remains in a stable condition in hospital.
