All households in Pembrokeshire have been sent registration forms to complete as part of the annual audit of the Register of Electors.
The main purpose of registration - which is a legal requirement - is to enable people to vote.
However, Credit Reference Agencies also use the Register so anyone not registering may encounter problems opening a bank account and obtaining credit or even a mortgage.
Pembrokeshire County Council urges everyone to complete the form and to return it immediately.
Anyone who has not received a form or who requires help to complete it, should phone : 01437 775714.
