Swansea residents inspired by the success of the annual Admiral Swansea Bay 10k are being urged to keep on running through the autumn and winter.
Swansea Council has launched running at four Active Swansea centres so that people can be supported to keep up their fitness training whatever the weather may bring.
The move comes after 3,500 runners took part in the main race of the Admiral Swansea Bay 10k last weekend.
Running clubs are now being launched at Bishopston Sports Centre as well as at the Morriston, Penyrheol and Penlan Leisure Centres.
Dave Osborne, Swansea Council Indoor Leisure Operations Manager, said: "As so many of us spend most of the winter months indoors, running outdoors in a group with qualified instructors is a great way to keep fit and healthy.
"There are both ladies only and mixed sessions with a variety of times and days.
"I would recommend the sessions to anyone who would like to keep their training going or would just like to start exercising but would like some extra support and company."
Visit www.activeswansea.com for full details of times, days and centres.
Spaces are limited so people interested are being urged not to delay in booking a place.
