Theft from camp site near Capel Curig

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after items were stolen from a camp site near Capel Curig yesterday (Thursday, 1st October).

Sometime between 9:30am and 3pm a thief or thieves entered the camp site in the Ogwen Valley and stole several items.

These included a dark blue Vango Oakland 400 tent, a light blue Vango Tempest 200 tent, a red coloured medium sized Sprayway waterproof coat, a Kodak Easyshare 8.2 mega pixel camera in a red coloured case and a Petzl Zipca Plus head torch.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or anyone who may have information regarding the stolen items is asked to contact PC 682 John Lewis Roberts at Llanrwst Police Station on 101, if you are calling from Wales, or 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line), 0845 607 1002 (English line) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
