Caldicot Castle events given go ahead until September 28th

Council officials have said that they will underwrite all events booked at Caldicot Castle until 28th September.

The catering company at Caldicot Castle, Jamesons Events Catering, has temporarily ceased trading and is unable to fulfil the terms of its contract.

Monmouthshire County Council’s Head of Community Learning, Peter Ellis, said:

“We understand that people who have made bookings at the castle will be concerned about their event and we are working hard to put plans for the future in place as quickly as possible.

“We will let customers know as soon as possible what arrangements will be put in place after September 28th.”
