Mountain Rescue on Snowdon

A 60-year-old man was airlifted to hospital after sustaining a knee injury while walking on Snowdon today (Thursday, September 10).

The man was one of a party of walkers walking on the Miners Track.

Police were informed of the incident at 10.52am today and informed Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team.

The 60-year-old was airlifted off the mountain by Squadron 22 of the RAF to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
