Quo and Kylie-alikes on Ponty centre schedule

Music fans can head for Llantwit Fardre Leisure Centre near Pontypridd, where entertainment for all ages has been lined up.

Families can enjoy a Hallowe’en Fancy Dress party on Saturday, October 31, 2009 featuring a Kylie tribute. The evening will run from 7pm to midnight and tickets are £6.50 adults and £3.50 children.

Status Quo tribute act Strictly Quo will perform during the Shaun Jones Memorial Concert on Saturday, October 17, in aid of Action Against Acne Drugs and MIND, from 7pm til midnight. Tickets are £5, available from the centre.

On Saturday, December 5, Take That tribute act Back For Good will perform (doors open 7pm, tickets £7) and on Saturday, December 31, people of all ages can see in 2010 at a New Year’s Eve Family Disco from 7pm-12.30am. Tickets are £6.50 adults and £3.50 children.

Cllr Robert Bevan, Rhondda Cynon Taf Cabinet Member for Culture and Recreation, said: "Llantwit Fardre Leisure Centre is a great place for all the family to enjoy a night out. We hope local people will continue to support all the great events the centre has lined up in the coming months."
