Fatal collision in Boduan near Pwllheli

At 11.19 am today (Saturday, 14th November) North Wales Police attended to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A497 Boduan near Pwllheli, involving a Vauxhall Astra and a VW Passat.

North Wales Police can confirm that the male driver of the Vauxhall Astra sustained fatal injuries following the collision. The male driver of the VW Passat sustained minor Injuries. There were no other occupants in either vehicle.

The road was closed whilst the collIsion was investigated and re-opened at 16.45 hours.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information should contact officers at the Western Roads Policing Unit on 101, or 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) or 0845 607 1002 (English line).
