Collision on A55

A man has been taken to hospital in Bangor following a collision on the A55 near Gaerwen, Anglesey, this morning.

Police received a report of the incident at 6.43am today (Wednesday, September 23,) which happened near to junction 7 on the carriageway and involved a tractor and a Scania HGV.

The Ambulance Service attended along with the Fire Service.

The driver of the tractor has been taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
