Historic pub damaged by fire

The thatched roof of the Bush pub in Saint Hilary in the Vale of Glamorgan was destroyed by fire on friday evening.

The extent of the damage to the centuries old award-winning pub is expected to be made clear today. The cause of the fire is not known at the moment.

Guest post by our good friend Arfur Daley over at the wonderful Brew Wales blog - he's in Abergavenny for the food festival today - perhaps you should be too.
