A man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery following an incident in the Johnstown area of Wrexham during the early hours of this morning (Thursday, September 3).
The 21-year-old man who is local to the Wrexham area is in custody awaiting questioning following an incident which is believed to have happened at around 1am.
The victim was walking in Johnstown and was attacked on Park Street. His bike and mobile phone were taken from him and he sustained what are believed to be minor injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information regarding the incident and are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of the Park Street this morning. Officers are keen to trace woman in connection with the incident and she is described as white, around 5ft 5’ tall with shoulder length blonde hair.
