A workshop has been organised to help rural community groups in Conwy develop their properties.
Planning Aid Wales (PAW) will be leading the workshop at Glasdir, Llanrwst, which aims to guide community groups around the planning processes, laws and regulations that they’ll encounter if they want develop the properties they manage.
PAW is a registered charity which provides professional and independent advice and support on all aspects of land use planning in Wales.
Project Officer, Stuart Whitfield said, “Community groups sometimes need to adapt their buildings or land when they want to offer a new service or scheme. This workshop will explain the intricacies of submitting planning applications and the PAW experts will be on hand to answer any questions.”
The workshop has been organised by the Rural Business and Community Asset project - one of the 31 Rural Development Plan projects currently underway in Conwy.
The workshop will be held at Glasdir Rural Development Centre in Llanrwst, on 24th September 2009 and from 10.30am to 1.00pm.
If your community group could benefit from this workshop please contact Stuart Whitfield on (01492) 643154 or email stuart.whitfield@conwy.gov.uk by 17th September – places are limited.
The workshop has received funding through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013, which is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
