Tea Time at the Norwegian Church for Breast Cancer Care

WITH summer drawing to a close the team at Cardiff Catering felt it was only right to organise one last summer event.

In aid of Breast Cancer Care the team will host a strawberry tea party, on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6 at the Norwegian Church Arts Centre in Cardiff Bay.

The Norwegian Church will be turned into an old fashioned tea room where visitors can enjoy a strawberry tea, which includes tea/coffee, glass of pimms, bubbly, or non –alcoholic drink plus a selection of cream cakes and sandwiches. Entertainment will also be provided including music, quiz, raffles and games for the children.

Tickets cost £8 for adults and £4 for children, with all profits going to Breast Cancer Care. There will also be stalls selling homemade produce again all money raised going to Breast Cancer Care.

Executive Member for Sport, Culture and Leisure, Cllr Nigel Howells, said: “I would like to thank the Cardiff Catering team for organising the event, it’s great to see the Norwegian Church being used to bring the community together and raise money for such a worthwhile charity.”
