Undercover Operation Targets Boy Racers

An undercover car was used to target boy racers in Fishguard and Goodwick.

Residents have been complaining to police regarding boy racers in Fishguard town centre and the Parrog in Goodwick.

On Monday night officers used an unmarked vehicle and stopped 14 vehicles with other drivers being spoken to.

Temporary Sergeant Dale Scriven said: "The operation was well received by the public and the drivers were educated on the public's perception of anti social behaviour involving vehicles.

"The use of an un-marked Police car enabled officers to approach vehicles that would normally change behaviour in the presence of a marked police vehicle.

"We would like to warn anyone who uses their vehicle for anti-social behaviour that a warning will be issued to them and if their behaviour continues they will have their vehicle seized."
