Blaenau Gwent gymnasts star in Manchester sports fashion show

Six young gymnasts from Blaenau Gwent literally jumped at the chance to become catwalk stars and help launch the new Milano Pro Sports clothing range in Manchester.

Emily Penson and Victoria Williams, both aged 12; Wesley McCarthy, Tom Elsworth and Daryl Evans, aged 15, and Jordan Thomas and Alex Bull, both 17, joined top British gymnasts for the fashion bonanza.

The six youngsters – all members of the Valleys Gymnastics Academy and Street Gym in Blaenau Gwent – performed their freestyle gymnastics and street style dance to music.

Based at Ebbw Vale Sports Centre, the academy offers a freestyle gymnastics session that combines the art of Free Running and Parkour.
