On 12 September residents from Barry and surrounding local areas will have the opportunity to discuss the issues that are most important to them in a special surgery-style event - Vale on the Road - which replaces the old style state of the area debates.
Vale of Glamorgan Council cabinet members will be visiting Barry Memorial Hall between 10am and 1pm to give residents the opportunity to express their views. This year the event is being held on a Saturday to give residents who can’t make evening meetings a chance to attend.
Each year the event is becoming increasingly popular, giving residents of the Vale of Glamorgan the opportunity to talk directly to cabinet members and council officers about their vision for the area's future.
The cabinet members will be going on to visit Rhoose Community Hall and Penarth Paget Rooms on the 17 October and 31 October respectively, same times as the Barry event.
If you have any particular issue you would like to raise please pick up a comment form from council receptions, libraries, town and community councils or have one posted by calling the contact centre on 01446 700111. Cards need to be returned before the event. Of course any issues can raised on the day, just call in to the event.
