Aberdyfi incident

In relation to the on going incident in Aberdyfi a spokesperson for North Wales Police said:

"Officers were looking for a man believed to be in the village from outside the area who it was believed might harm himself. There was no suggestion that he would harm anyone other than himself. As a precaution people were asked to stay away from a certain part of the village whilst our enquiries were ongoing.

The operation has now finished, however inquiries are ongoing to locate the man."
