MP welcomes Gorsedd Bran refusal

Conservative Member of Parliament for Clwyd West, David Jones, has welcomed the news that the Planning Inspectorate has rejected the appeal against the refusal by Denbighshire County Council to grant planning permission for a new wind farm at Gorsedd Bran, near Nantglyn.

David Jones said:

“The cumulative impact of wind farms in the Denbighshire uplands is having a very detrimental effect upon the residents of those areas; there are, quite simply, far too many turbines in the hills.

Denbighshire is to be commended for its refusal of this application and I am delighted that the Planning Inspectorate upheld the council’s decision.”
