Appeal: Damage caused at Caernarfon school

An appeal for witnesses and information is being made after damage was caused at a Caernarfon primary school over the weekend.

Sometime between 5pm on Friday 11th and 9am yesterday (Monday, 14th September) damage was caused to equipment situated outside the nursery of Ysgol Maesincla.

The roof of an outdoor playhouse had its felt ripped off and a bench was smashed. Sand from the sand pit had also been strewn across the area.

PC Luke Fox said: “This has caused a great deal of upset to the school and I would appeal for anyone with information regarding this heartless vandalism to contact us.”

Enquiries are ongoing in the area and anyone who may have information is asked to contact PC 2686 Luke Fox at Caernarfon Police Station on 101, if calling from Wales, or 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) 0845 607 1002 (English line) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
