Full-back Craig Morgan will lead Cardiff for the first time in his 230th game for club and region.
The former international wing scored his 98th try for Cardiff and the Blues when he touched down against Cross Keys last Saturday and was outstanding in the midweek defeat of Neath.
Also returning to the starting line-up for today's visit of Llandovery are Richard Jones and Tom Slater behind the scrum while in the pack Leighton Davies and Darren Lynch make their first Premiership starts of the campaign.
