Visit the animals at Plantasia this Autumn

Weird and wonderful creatures look set to keep the crowds coming to Swansea Plantasia.

The hothouse's collection of monkeys, turtles and fish alongside bugs, a chameleon and a python have helped attract thousands of visitors during the summer school holidays.

More than 25,000 visitors passed through the Parc Tawe based attraction's doors during the summer break.

Its Animal Antics shows during the summer were fully booked with more than 600 adults and children attending the educational insights into creatures from snakes to lizards.

And the fun continues for families looking for an autumn adventure.

As well as its fabulous range of unusual plants and exotic fruits from around the world at Plantasia you can see monkeys, turtles, a chameleon with its distinctive eyes and enormous sticky tongue or even a 15-foot long python.

Visitors can also sit and watch parakeets flying freely in the bird house or admire the riot of colour with the exotic species of fish in the aquarium. They can even get to feed the Koi Carp.

Plantasia is open every day from 10am to 5pm with the last admission at 4.15pm.
