Free concert this afternoon

The Abertillery Ladies Orpheus Choir are performing live at the Tesco stage in the Millennium Centre, Cardiff this afternoon (Sat 12 Sept) from 3 till 4pm.

This is a free concert and anyone can just pop in for part or all of the performance.

The choir then visit The Rest in Porthcawl on Sat 29 September with guest artiste Hannah Weley. Another splendid evening is guaranteed.

Formed in 1911, the choir has been an institution in Abertillery and the surrounding area since that time.

Presently, there are about 30 choristers representing wide range of ages drawn from a diverse cross-section of the community. The choir has a similarly diverse repertoire from classical to songs from the shows and popular music.
