Ceri takes the helm at Personnel

Pembrokeshire County Council has a new Head of Personnel.

Ceri Davies is due to start work at County Hall in Haverfordwest in January.

The 46 year-old is currently the Head of Human Resources and Organisational Development at the City and County of Swansea.

"I'm delighted to have been given the opportunity to work with Pembrokeshire County Council," he said.

"I'm really looking forward to working with the personnel team at the Council to take forward the people agenda in Pembrokeshire."

Ceri, who is married with three children, was born and brought up in the Rhondda. He has an MA in Human Resources Management and is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

He started his working life in personnel at the University of Wales College of Medicine and also worked at the Welsh Development Agency before moving to Swansea in 2007.

A fluent Welsh speaker, he currently lives in Llanelli and is a keen supporter of the Scarlets rugby team.
