Kids get a free visit to Plantasia

Families are escaping the cold with a trip to Swansea's very own hothouse this winter.

Plantasia is proving to be the perfect place to enjoy the warmth and see insects, monkeys, a chameleon and turtles as well as banana plants, pineapple plants, prickly cacti and giant bamboo.

And a new special offer is set to tempt even more people in to the Parc Tawe-based tropical hothouse.

If you text kids to 60006 you'll receive a free text message offering a free child entry with each paying adult.

Plantasia is open every day from 10am to 5pm with the last admission at 4.15pm.
