Ponty put impressive streak on the line

Pontypridd will go all out to defend a six match winning run and a two year ground record as they entertain Llanelli in the Premiership tomorrow.
This match will kick off early at 1pm due to the ensuing Wales v New Zealand international.

Sitting on top of the table and eager to preserve that status, Ponty will be wary of a wounded animal entering the arena as Llanelli in their last two games have yielded sizeable leads to draw away at Aberavon and then to loose at home to Neath.

With both teams committed to the ethos of open, attacking rugby, hopefully a large crowd at Sardis Road will be given value for money.

Ponty make a minimal four changes to the line up which started their last game at Cardiff. Kristian Baller reverts to his previous role on the wing with Aaron Bramwell given an opportunity at outside half.

The inclusion of Rhys Lloyd in the back row allows Chris Dicomidis to return to the lock position, partnering Ryan Savage. Returning from injury to take a place on the bench are centre Dafydd Lockyer, wing Lewis Williams and flanker Darren Waters.

Still sidelined are wing Owen Williams with a broken jaw, scrum half Gavin Morris (knee) and flanker Kristian Dacey (shoulder). The front row union of Sam Hobbs, Rhys Williams and Pat Palmer along with outside half Dai Flanagan are on duty with the Blues and Dragons regional squads.

Pontypridd: 15.Matthew Nuthall. 14.Kristian Baller. 13.Gavin Dacey. 12.Adam Thomas. 11.Chris Clayton. 10.Aaron Bramwell. 9.Rhys Downes; 1.Stuart Williams. 2.Huw Dowden. 3.Ryan Harford. 4.Ryan Savage. 5.Chris Dicomidis. 6.Rhys Lloyd. 7.Wayne O’Connor. 8.Nathan Strong (capt)
