Two men were arrested during the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday, 8th November) following a stabbing incident in Flint.
At 00:31 police officers came across a disturbance which had occurred on Sydney Street, whereby two men had been found with injuries.
An ambulance was called and both men – a 27 and 28-year-old were taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.
The men who were arrested – a 25 and a 19-year-old, were both arrested on suspicion of assault.
The 19-year-old remains in police custody at this time and the 25-year-old has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The 27-year-old who was taken to hospital with serious chest injuries remains in hospital at this time. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The 28-year-old was released from hospital after being treated for arm and back injuries.
All four men live in the Flint area.
