Children in Llantrisant staged a colourful carnival with costumes they created themselves.
More than 130 youngsters took part in workshops at Penygawsi Community Centre, when they created costumes, the set and masks and had a bash at samba drumming, dancing and drama.
The week culminated in a carnival show, which the children's parents were invited to. The workshops were funded by Fframwaith and ESF and developed through Rhondda Cynon Taf Cultural Services and Llantrisant Community Arts.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Youth Arts Co-ordinator Delyth Balman said: "The young people involved in the workshops and performance worked really hard to pull everything together - they were fantastic to work with and there's definitely a few stars in the making!
"It was fantastic to see them all enjoying performing, and to see mums and dads up dancing too! A special thanks to all the tutors who helped make this such a success."
