Residents are being urged by Powys County Council to take a stroll along the Montgomery Canal towpath next month in the latest Trail Tempters walk.
Organised by the council’s Countryside Services team, Towpaths & Riverbanks takes place on Sunday 6 September. The walk will be along the Montgomery Canal towpath, the banks of the River Severn and through Pwll Penarth Nature Reserve.
A bus from Newtown will take walkers to Abermule where they will walk back on this easy to moderate graded walks. Pre-book your place on this walk by calling 01597 827567.
