A man is currently in police custody having been arrested on suspicion of murder following an incident in Flintshire last night (Saturday, 29th August).
At around 10pm an ambulance was called to the Mountain Park Hotel and Country Club in Flint following an altercation between two men.
As a result of this altercation a 26-year-old man was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital with head injuries. Sadly, the man died earlier this morning as a result of his injuries.
Police have arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of murder and he remains in police custody at this time.
Both men are from the Manchester area.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who may have been at the hotel last night and who may have witnessed the incident, or to anyone who may have information to contact officers at Mold CID on 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) 0845 607 1002 (English line) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
