A plaque commemorating that "In this room in 1927, Christmas Evans preached on the occasion of the opening of the Welsh Baptist in Tongwynlais" has been restored to its rightful place on the walls of the Lewis Arms in Tongwynlais.
Ange, the new Landlady (pictured), who has worked in the Lewis for some 15 years told Welsh Icons: "We are very proud of Christmas Evans' association with the Lewis".
