Statue stolen from Friary

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a statue was stolen from a Friary in Penmaenmawr.

Sometime between Friday 9th and Friday 16th October, a statue of Jesus Christ (pictured) was stolen from a plinth above the door of the Old Franciscan Friary on Graiglwyd Road.

Anybody who may have information regarding the whereabouts of the statue is asked to contact PC 2713 Samantha Lovatt at Conwy Police Station on 101, or 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line), 0845 607 1002 (English line) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
