Richard Tunstall, Senior Lecturer in Enteprise, recently won a competitive Advanced Institute of Management bursary to present work from his PhD at the 24th Cardiff Employment Research Unit Annual Conference “New Directions in Organisation Studies” from 3–4 September.
Key themes for the conference were developments in organisational theory, and new directions in understanding the nature, implications and management of work.
Speakers at the conference included Prof Royston Greenwood (University of Alberta) and Cardiff Professors Mike Reed, Hugh Wilmott, Robyn Thomas, Emmanuael Ogbonna & Rick Delbrige who spoke about current trends in European and US research in organisation theory and critical management studies.
