Know Your Rights

The Neath Port Talbot Council's Trading Standards team will be travelling the county borough for three days next week as part of National Consumer Week.

The 'Know Your Rights' displays will be at Tesco Neath Abbey on Monday 14th September , Aberavon Shopping Centre on Tuesday the 15th and Tesco Pontardawe on Wednesday the 16th from 10am until 3pm.

Council Leader Ali Thomas said, "Residents need to know what their legal rights are. The council has its part to play in making consumers aware of what they are legally entitled to if things go wrong with goods and services.

"Shoppers will be able to get information on what do if things go wrong with their purchases, giveaways and more information on Wales's consumer watchdog Consumer Direct Wales."
