The centre in Canton will be open from 10am to 2pm and everyone is welcome to see, and sample, what's on offer, take a look at the gallery, ask questions and sign up for courses.
Free activities include drama games for children, drawing and painting fun for all the family, a pottery taster, computer arts and portrait painting for adults, along with a chance to be a portrait model. Many of the centre's tutors are practising artists and a selection will be on hand during the open day to provide help and advice.
Cardiff City Council's Executive Member for Lifelong Learning Councillor Freda Salway said: "Llanover Hall Arts Centre's activities are for people of all ages and abilities. Everyone who chooses to take advantage of this open day will get a valuable insight into what the centre does and the opportunities it can offer people. Most importantly though, this is a great chance for anyone to pop along and try their hand at a range of fun, varied and entertaining activities for all the family."
