Robberies in Rossett and Penymynydd

Two men, a 19-year-old and 24-year-old will appear before Mold Magistrates court tomorrow (Thursday, September 10) jointly charged with three robberies in the Rossett and Penymynydd areas on Thursday, August 27.

Jack Childs, aged 19, of Birch road, Lache , Chester, and 24-year-old Craig Smith of Sycamore drive, Lache, Chester, were arrested by North Wales Police yesterday on suspicion of robbery following a joint operation between North Wales Police and Cheshire Constabulary.

The 19-year-old and 24-year-old have this afternoon been jointly charged with three robberies.

The 19-year-old was also charged with aggravated vehicle taking and driving whilst disqualified.

The 24-year-old was also charged with being carried in a stolen motor vehicle.

Both are due to appear at
Mold Magistrates Court tomorrow.
