Tribute to Matthew James Gregory who died following a collision on Sunday 20 September on the A539 between Hamner and Penley.
Matt was the youngest of four children and was 26 on the day that he died.
His mum and dad, Teresa and David, and his brother and sisters, Mark, Jane and Lisa loved him dearly and are devastated by his loss.
Matt had been a pupil at St Mary's Primary School in Overton on Dee and later at Maelor School in Penley. He was a popular lad at school and remained very close to many of his school mates.
For the last three years Matt worked as a plant operator for Hawk Plant Hire of Wem, and has worked on many sites around the UK. He especially enjoyed the 18 months he worked on the site of the 2012 Olympics in London.
Matt's family have gained considerable comfort from the support they have received from his friends and work mates and from all of their friends, family and work colleagues.
"We would like Matt to be remembered for his cheery smile and willingness to help anyone out at a moments notice."
The funeral will be held on Friday 2 October at Overton Church.
