Free Playscheme in the Park

Cardiff Council’s Children’s Play Services are hosting a free ‘Playscheme in the Park’ event at Heath Park (by the car park at the rear of University Hospital Wales) on Thursday 27th August from 11am to 3pm. This event will be an end of summer finale for all the children and young people that have attended playschemes across Cardiff this summer.

Come and join in the fun filled action packed day with activities including arts & crafts, sports, parachute games courses, large team games and much more! The event will give Playworkers and young people the opportunity to come together to have a day of fun and to say goodbye as the summer holidays come to an end.

Cllr Nigel Howells, Executive Member for Culture, Leisure and Sport said, “Following the tremendous success of our Free Playschemes programme across Cardiff during the summer holidays we are pleased to host a final day of free activities for children and young people of all ages.”
