THE Welsh Assembly Government is launching a consultation on legislation about the Welsh language.
They want powers from Westminster to introduce an Assembly Measure confirming official status for both Welsh and English, providing linguistic rights in the provision of services and establishing a Language Commissioner.
There's a question and answer session on Tuesday at the Eisteddfod - one of the strongest strongholds of the language. If you're not going you can participate here.
