Post-mortems halted at the Heath
Post-mortem examinations have been halted at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW) in Cardiff, known locally as 'the Heath', after the Human Tissue Authority (HTA) found problems with the procedures and facilities at the Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust run hospital.
Post-mortens were stopped at the hospital, the largest in Wales last Thursday after action by the HTA. It is believed that Post-mortens will be carried out in other hospitals in the area such as Llandough.
