It's Official - Green Man Sold Out Again

The sun is shining and it's going to be a full house for our best festival ever for on the 22st, 22nd and 23rd August 2009 at the glorious Glanusk Park, in the Brecon Beacons.

Yes, all tickets have sold out for what promises to be the celebration of the summer.

The big tops are going up, the main stage is taking shape beneath the breathtaking Black Mountains is bedecked in over 4kms of magical garland lighting - all they need now is you!
As if you needed reminding.

They've got the only UK festival appearance from the mighty Animal Collective after Glastonbury, a European exclusive from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds offshoots Dirty Three and Wooden Shjips sailing in all the way from San Francisco Bay just to unleash their psych-trance-garage magnificence on the good people at Green Man.

There's rare appearances from legendary 13th Floor Elevators singer Roky Erikson and, despite frequent unfounded rumours of his untimely demise - unsung 60s song writing genius Rodriguez.
A lip-licking feast of food that awaits you, our biggest ever comedy, literature and film line-ups, our newly expanded kids area, boffins, experiments and nature in Einstein's Garden and in case you'd forgotten - the only 24 drinks licence at a festival anywhere in the country this year!

And the party has already started?

Since Monday hundreds of campers have been basking in the glory that is our exclusive new Holiday Ticket, watching the site transform before their very eyes, while supping fine ales in their own newly named Holiday Inn and making the most of the glorious weather and the even more glorious Brecon Beacons. So hi-de-hi campers - why aren't you there?

And be warned - word has it that the ever-mischievous Green Man has a few extra-special surprises hidden up his sleeve yet.
