Residents are now being offered the option of receiving their Council Tax bills via secure email, as part of the ongoing campaign to offer information and services in the ways customers have said they want.
New legislation passed last month now makes it possible for councils in Wales to send bills to taxpayers anonymously, via a secure email link.
Those residents who are interested in receiving their bills via email are invited to sign up for the offer, taking advantage of a quick, easy and secure service that is also environmentally friendly.
Offering Council Tax bills by email is the latest in a series of initiatives by the Council, which is continuing to deliver on its commitment to offer customer care and services that meets the needs – and demands of residents.
Whether it is by Telephone, the Internet or face to face, the authority Council has invested to enable people to access the information and services they want, via whatever means they wish.
Council Tax services have been further enhanced, with the option to set up a Direct Debit over the telephone, instead of having to fill out a form, and also the option to pay bills via www.rctcbc.gov.uk
Those who wish to sign up to receive their Council Tax bill by email can do so by sending their name, address and Council Tax account number, and email address, to revenues@rctcbc.gov.uk
To set up a Direct Debit by telephone, contact 01443 681081.
