From 2 November 2009, there will be some minor changes to bus services in the Vale of Clwyd.
The main changes will affect the 150 bus service between Ruthin and Corwen, which will be varied by 30 minutes, with departures from Ruthin at quarter to the hour and departures from Corwen at quarter past the hour broadly hourly throughout the day. Other amendments include an earlier arrival in Ruthin and Denbigh from Corwen to allow adequate time for shopping in the town centres.
Buses between Ruthin and Mold on the 1/1A/2 service will see additional journeys that will provide passengers the opportunity for through connections to Broughton Retail Park and Chester, as well as better connections at Ruthin for Mold in response to requests from passengers.
Arrangements will continue to ensure that residents of Eryrys and Graianrhyd visiting Mold have appropriate return facilities.
Buses from Denbigh and Ruthin to Wrexham will continue to operate hourly during the day with the additional benefit of a special evening and Sunday service. Between Denbigh and Ruthin, a half-hourly bus service will be maintained.
Updated timetables have been placed at roadside bus stops. For further details, please contact the Denbighshire Passenger Transport Group on 01824 706968.
