CLIConline – an information, news and advice channel for young people in Wales, is nearing the end of its Wales-wide search for the best young unsigned band, performer or producer.
Open to all Welsh musicians aged between 11 and 25, CLIC Battle of the Bands launched in September to support and promote young talent. Working closely with industry professionals – ranging from music producers to design and promotion teams – the aim is to present young musicians with an opportunity to get heard, be recognised and receive valuable advice and feedback from people in the know.
The five finalists – decided by the public, who can vote at CLIConline.co.uk – will be invited to perform at the CLIC launch event in Cardiff this November before a panel of industry professionals, who will choose an overall winner. The winners of the competition will receive an enormous boost to their musical career: they will be given a week’s studio time to produce both an industry-quality master CD and a high quality MP3 for digital downloads, in addition to a professional photo shoot and personalised website design.
To register your vote for the Wales’ best unsigned band, please visit:

Voting ends 10th November
If you would be interested in sponsoring the event, please contact dan@cliconline.co.uk
They are still looking for anyone willing to donate prizes for the other four finalists.
