Closure of Rhosddu Car Park

Due to health and safety considerations during the refurbishment work at Wrexham Library the Rhosddu Road car park will close to the public from 2nd November to 1st February 2010.

This car park is normally available to disabled badge holders who are asked to use the car parks at the Library, Market Street and Waterworld. The Transportation & Asset Management Department is reviewing disabled parking provision for the period of the closure in consultation with stakeholders.

Martin Wright, Wrexham's Chief Transportation and Asset Management Officer, said:

"We apologise to any disabled badge holder who may be inconvenienced by this situation. The public's safety has to be paramount and until we are certain the refurbishment works will cause no further concerns this car park will remain closed."
