Theft from ATM machine in Denbigh

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a substantial amount of cash was stolen from a cash machine in a Denbigh garage over the weekend.

Officers were made aware of the incident at 06:24am on Saturday, 24th October, following reports that a door leading into the Shell Garage on Rhyl Road had been tampered with and entry had been gained into the building, where the ATM cash machine was situated.

It is believed that tools and electric cutting devices were used within the premises to break into the machine and a substantial amount of cash was stolen.

House to house inquiries have been conducted in the area and police would like to hear from anyone who has witnessed any suspicious activity in or around the premises over previous weeks.
