Would you like to join the growing number of people from across Caerphilly county borough that are working with the police, council and other organisations to help reduce levels of crime and anti-social behaviour by becoming a volunteer Community Crime Fighter?
People from across Caerphilly county borough who are already active members of their community are being invited to take part in a training session, which will equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a volunteer Community Crime Fighter, and help develop stronger links between crime fighting agencies and the communities they serve.
The Community Crime Fighters autumn road show is coming to Cardiff on Thursday 5th November, beginning at 9.30am and will be finished by 4pm. It is free to attend and lunch and refreshments will be provided. Help is also available with travel costs if required.
Cabinet member for the environment, Cllr Lyn Ackerman said, "I would encourage anyone with an active interest in reducing crime and anti-social behaviour in our communities to take the opportunity to access training and skills that I hope will enable them to become even more effective advocates for their communities."
To book a place, contact the Safer Caerphilly Community Safety Partnership on 01443 866918 or the Community Crime Fighters registration desk on 0800 197 2965. You can also book electronically on the Community Crime Fighters website quoting booking reference ccf02.
