Welsh Rock legends Funeral for a Friend return for a homecoming show to re-open Cardiff's iconic Coal Exchange venue with a real bang!
They're fresh from playing the major festivals touring recently released greatest hits record Your History is Mine: 2002-2009 album.
Their 16 track best takes the quintet's story from the early days in Bridgend South Wales through to gold albums, multiple world-wide headline tours and appearances at every festival that matters.
As well as the twelve smash hits from FFAF’s previous four albums featured, the
release will include an EP’s worth of new material, notable for being the first involving Gavin Burrough (bass) fully in the writing and recording process.
As Drummer/vocalist Ryan Richards puts it: "We wanted to document the history of the band
up until now but at the same time usher in a New Age of Aural Awesomeness – or NAAA to the abbreviators out there who've come to know and love us as the FFAF."
Catch them in the superb surroundings of the Coal Exchange on Tuesday, November 3 for their only live date in the capital on this tour.

Funeral For a Friend’s not-to-be-missed homecoming date marks the return of one of Cardiff’s best-loved venues, The Coal Exchange. Having been forced to close its doors over two years ago due to the recession and the falling through of development of luxury apartments, Promoters Sub Live has teamed up with the old team at the Coal Exchange to bring a series of massive legendary acts to the Welsh capital.
A Coal Exchange spokesman said: "We are very excited that live music now has its home back in Cardiff, with the re-opening of Wales finest venue.
"We are chuffed to be able to work with the team that made the Coal Exchange what it was up to its closure two years ago. We can now look forward to some fantastic gigs in the bay."
Having lined up an awesome series of events including dates from London musical genre-straddlers Alabama 3, Canadian politico-punks Propagandi, Manchester legends The Buzzcocks, the Sublive collective is excited to be bringing high quality musical events back
to the heart of Cardiff Bay.
"What better way to kick things off than with these four amazing gigs we have pulled together
coupled with some excellent shows from other promoters, indeed it will ensure that Cardiff is put back on the map for exciting live music again."
