Make no bones about it, Halloween's riding a new wave of fun in Swansea this year
Swansea Council plan a series of four-mile ghost train runs along the city's seaside promenade on the evening of October 31- and all 300 tickets were sold within days of going on sale. Children and adults can ride in fancy dress.
The authority's Christine Johns said: "It's something different for families and is incredibly popular. I wish it had been running when I was younger!"
Through the summer the land train offers sea-view trips with a sunnier theme. Through the year it is also available in the off-peak season.
This Halloween children of all ages were offered the chance to enjoy a spine-chilling ride along Swansea Prom.
For one night only the Swansea Bay Rider will be getting a creepy make-over when it's transformed into the Halloween Ghost Train.
The ghost train will ferry passengers on a spooktacular journey through the eerie darkness from Southend Gardens to Blackpill Lido and back.
The train's first departure is at 4.45pm and its final is at 7.45pm. The Swansea Bay Rider is weather dependent and will not run if conditions are poor.
